The ColorChecker Passport Photo 2 helps you as a photographer if you are looking for more accurate and consistent colors and flexibility in creative applications.

The Passport Photo 2 combines four different color charts in a portable and compact format.

Gray balance and white balance cards

For example, this ColorChecker contains a gray balance and white balance card. The gray card has 18% gray tones, which gives you accurate exposure with reflective light meters and can remove unwanted color casts. You can use the white card as a neutral reference point to accurately choose colors in different lighting conditions and to create white balance settings while shooting. Classic Target and Creative Enhancement Target A Classic Target is also included. In it different shades of gray, natural, chromatic and primary colors are collected together. These colors represent natural objects, such as human skin, foliage, and blue sky. The Classic Target delivers a true-to-life image reproduction, so that you can choose the right color under any light condition. Finally, a Creative Enhancement Target is included. You can use this card to give colors a warmer or colder hue in 1/3-stop increments.

Renewed software

The software has been upgraded to version 1.2, which allows you to create both DNG and ICC camera profiles using the Classic Target. The software recognizes the color map you are using and after creating color profiles under different lighting conditions, this helps to reduce color differences between shots and to adjust the color balance from scene to scene. You can also choose to combine DNG profiles with two light sources into one profile. You can apply this to a wider variety of lighting conditions.
