Remove the power pack from the flash head and attach the AC adapter in its place. You can now power the flash head from the mains. A nice touch is that the mains adapter ensures a faster recycle time when flashing at full power.

The AC adapter has a built-in temperature-controlled fan that turns on and off automatically. This keeps the adapter cool, even under heavy load. The large red toggle switch on the back allows you to turn the lamp on and off.
