The KS-079 from Kupo is a lightweight aluminum lamp adapter, which prevents wobbling when a lamp is placed on a tripod with a longer Ansi Standard 16 mm (5/8 ") spigot, as is often the case with C-stands.

Spigots on C-stands, booms, and various other stands have different lengths, so the heads are not securely attached. The Kupo KS-079 adapter for Elinchrom, among others, solves this problem. The KS-079 is made of lightweight aluminum with knurled neck for maximum friction when turning the knob. 1/4 '' - 20 female thread on top of 16mm stud for attaching accessories comes with 1/4 '' - 20 male threads.
