The Rode NT4 stereo microphone is the ideal sollution for making stereo recordings without phase shifting.The two microphone capsules are placed in XY pattern to make sure both microphones receive the incomming audio at exactly the same moment, preventing the left and right channels to have a phase difference.
the microphone can be used with 48V Phantom power or with a build in 9V battery and the output can be routed to a dual XLR cable or a 3.5mm stereo jack connector. This makes the microphone ideal for use with studio mixers or low cost field recorders.
This microphone is perfectly suitable for use as an overhead microphone in a drum setup, or for vocal recordings of a choir.
