The Sekonic RT-GX Godox is a radio transmitter for use in combination with the L-858D light meter.

It is a user-replaceable radio module that fits neatly into the SPEEDMASTER L-858D Light Meter next to the batteries. Together with Godox, Sekonic has developed the RT-GX transmitter module for the Sekonic L-858D (International) and L-858D-U (USA) light meters. This partnership provides Godox users with a fully integrated light metering workflow, allowing them to effortlessly measure, monitor and analyze flash characteristics like never before. The Sekonic RT-GX simplifies the process of lighting a portrait, analyzing a scene and helping you quickly enter your lighting recipe to arrive at your final image with exacting precision.

The L-858D with the RT-GX transmitter module allows you to recall all 32 channels (1-32), 16 groups (AF, 0-9) and wireless IDs to remotely activate their Godox-compatible lights up to 30 meters) away. You can even wirelessly control the power of modeling lights.

HSS flash metering
Godox users can now measure the power of HSS. You don't have to guess what your exposure time is when using High-Speed Sync. Tell the meter your ISO and shutter speed and it will do the rest.

Next Level Flash Analytics
Now Godox users can more easily measure the percentage of flash in their images to maintain the desired mix of ambient and flash light. Also measure the flash duration to know how much braking power your lights have to freeze an athlete's sweat or a fashion model's flowing dress.
